Trezor Bridge® is the official background service that enables secure communication between your Trezor hardware wallet and modern web browsers. It allows web-based applications like Trezor Suite Web and trusted third-party crypto platforms to interact with your device—without ever exposing your private keys.
Modern browsers restrict direct USB access for security reasons. Trezor Bridge solves this limitation by acting as a secure local connection layer between your browser and your Trezor device.
Once installed, Bridge runs silently in the background and enables browser-based wallets and dApps to communicate with your Trezor safely.
Trezor Bridge uses encrypted communication over HID and WebUSB protocols. All sensitive actions—such as transaction signing and address verification— take place exclusively inside the Trezor hardware wallet.
At no point does Trezor Bridge access, store, or transmit your recovery seed or private keys.
Supported operating systems include:
Installing Trezor Bridge is simple:
After installation, a small Trezor icon appears in your system tray or menu bar:
No login, no account creation, and no tracking by default.
Trezor Bridge refuses to run outdated or unofficial versions, protecting users from malicious software.
Trezor Bridge® is the invisible link that makes secure browser-based crypto management possible. It is free, open-source, and designed to stay out of your way while keeping your assets safe.
